Hans serves as a law department director in the Legal Technology practice at HBR Consulting (HBR). Hans has 20 years of experience with legal operations and technology consulting for corporate law departments in the U.S. and Europe across several industries, notably technology, healthcare and finance. He has managed many transformative operational initiatives, headed dozens of legal management software selection/acquisition lifecycles and implemented over 30 systems projects. Hans holds extensive legal process best practice expertise as well as strong partnerships with many leading legal software and service providers.

Prior to joining HBR, Hans headed the legal technology consulting practice at Elevate and held senior manager positions at Duff & Phelps, Huron Consulting, Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, and Mitratech.

Hans graduated from Sorbonne Paris IV with a bachelor’s degree in economics, law and applied foreign languages.

Hans loves family, friends, music and travel. He is currently on a quest to visit as many of the 63 U.S. national parks as possible before his legs collapse.
