Terry is a senior director for HBR Consulting and possesses over twenty five years experience in records and information management. He specializes in developing an integrated approach to managing the continuum of law firm information including e-mail management, electronic document management, and hardcopy records.
In his engagements with over 25 of the Am Law 200 firms, he has developed records management programs, and conducted assessments of existing programs against professionally accepted recordkeeping principles. Terry specializes in developing records management policies and supporting records retention schedules, developing strategies to manage firm and client records in matter-centric environments, defining functional requirements for document and records management systems, and implementing leading software applications to support the improved management of records throughout the information lifecycle.
A frequent speaker on records and information management governance, policy, and strategy, Terry has been active in a variety of leadership roles for ARMA International, the association for information management professionals, at the local, regional, and international level. He served ARMA International as President-Elect, President, and Chairman of the Board from 2000 – 2003. Terry is a Certified Records Manager and a 2005 recipient of the ARMA International Distinguished Service Award.
