Lauren M. Chung

Ms. Chung is a Director in the Law Department Consulting Practice at Hildebrandt. She consults with law departments on cost management, benchmarking, structure and organization assessments, diagnostic reviews, and outside counsel management. She also manages the Hildebrandt Law Department Survey, which is the premier source of benchmarking and compensation data for corporate law departments.

Prior to joining Hildebrandt International, Ms. Chung was a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in corporate strategy and a project analyst with Mintz Levin/ ML Strategies of Boston.

• Conduct diagnostic assessments which provide a baseline understanding of key aspects of the law department
• Assess organizational structures and recommend alternatives that enhance efficiency  
• Analyze legal spending trends and develop cost management plans
• Conduct in-depth benchmarking analysis on staffing, spending and management practices
• Define metrics that allow law departments to measure its performance and plan for continuous improvement
• Design and administer client satisfaction surveys to help assess the effectiveness of the law department
• Recommend improvements on service delivery mechanisms
• Recommend changes in management techniques
